Contracting

Each of the three approaches (coaching, mentoring and training) is tailored to meet the individual needs of each of our clients.

For the interaction to be effective, there are four principles or building blocks that must be put in place.

  • Support from within the organisation for the interaction
  • Clarity from the client about the type of partnership working sought: coaching, mentoring or training. For focus, only one type of interaction is in play at any one time
  • A commitment to resource the interaction for a time period sufficiently long for the interaction to have a significant impact: a minimum period of 6 months is common
  • The interaction takes place off-site

Because the developmental and flexible nature of the relationship it is not appropriate to provide an indication of fees on a general basis. However, a fee quote will be provided following an initial first meeting. Although a commitment for a long-term interaction is a requirement, the contract can be cancelled, without any financial penalty, at any time by the client
