  • ‘A major step on my road to effective and better leadership’

  • ‘Thought provoking – made me step back, reflect and think deeply about myself’

  • A very powerful, simple interpretation of leadership. Administrators, managers, leaders and how I use all of these in different ways, rather than viewing leadership as a separate role
  • The summary of the main theories on each aspect was a very useful refresher
  • Excellent overview of the dynamics and persona of leaders, managers and teams - including the variables that make models best fit rather than absolute
  • 4:4, 1:1 model!
  • Thinking about teams in particular and acknowledging how diverse and complex the environment is - leads me to go back and re-think aspects of my project organisation, in particular communication
  • Change management and team building modules have provided food for thought in my day job!
  • A whole day away from the team: listening, thinking and reflecting
  • Useful/interesting to be with such a variety of people from different organisations
  • Gave me an opportunity to reflect on my own management style especially leadership
  • Good update on different models/learning styles etc
  • Lots of good references and learning material flagged up - in particular the Michael West report
  • Tools and techniques, concepts and evidence of methods of working, thinking and performing that I can research and apply
  • I understand a little more clearly about why I do the things I do - I am not always right
  • Inspiring material - some of which I had seen but was a little rusty on.
  • An excellent opportunity to network with colleagues and tap into like minded people
  • Enjoyed this course very much - it did what it said on the packet - thank you
