Lean Thinking: World Class Health Care

There is pressure to be transparent about performance and an increasing appetite for performance data. Improvement initiatives are swamping the care systems with nationally deployed programmes to local, regional, service, and institution process improvements. This module will consider a whole system ‘best practice’ approaches such as:

  • Lean Thinking
  • Process Variation
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Six Sigma
  • Theory of Constraints
  • Demand Management
